About the department of VLSI From the Desk of Dr. Pradeep Kumar N.S., HoD (Electronics and Communication Engineering)

This department programs are sought by CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by KEA and other students across the country. The programs are outcome based and well organized to cater the industry needs.

Academics at UG and PG level is maintained with Staff and student ratio of 1:20. Our curriculum includes self study, internships, mini and major projects to strong the analytical and technical skills of the students. An excellent infrastructure supporting research and innovation is provided for upgrading skills of staff and students.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was started in 2007 and it is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. It has one UG program, one PG program i.e, M.Tech in VLSI Design and Embedded system and a Ph.D program.

All of our students are encouraged to participate in various interdisciplinary activities and research. Students of our department are placed in various companies like Exilant, Tesco, AMPS, Syntel, Infosys, Wipro etc. the department has an MOU with Indian Tech keys which has separate innovation lab.

  • Conducting seminars, workshops regularly on current technologies for skill development, periodic industrial visits to get acquainted to industrial working, providing good infrastructure in the form of lab, research center with current software’s and other equipments for developing innovative projects with more inclination towards the research.
