Chairman
The primary focus of all our efforts at SEA is to continuously fine tune our education delivery systems and internal processes to accord with the needs and challenges of the contemporary world. Apart from imparting relevant domain knowledge and building competencies necessary for effective functioning anywhere in the world, we also make conscious efforts to improve the sensitivity of our students to different ethos, value systems and cultural milieu which they may experience in the course of their careers. The aim is to make our students autonomous and socially responsible human beings. I am confident that those who choose to be a part of us as students will find the experience enriching and exciting.

The college is sensitive to the forces of globalization and its effect on Indian education. The country today needs to develop engineers who know the best technology and can deploy it to produce the best products and services.
We need engineers who can translate requirements into real functional systems. Our results are exemplary both from the point of view of pass percentage as well as from the placement perspective. We are constantly reviewing our teaching –learning processes to make them modern and keep them unto date. Engineering students today should be well-rounded problem solvers who go beyond the confines of their functional units. Whereas carrying out one’s function is important, this function is to be seen in the larger context of the value addition that a corporation wishes to provide.
Therefore, taking responsibility for and being a player in the total value addition process is of the essence. This makes our students highly employable in international industry.

The SEA Group is a friendly place to study and small enough to know and care for each other and build a social network that endures. The enabling ambience of the S.E.A.COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY is consistent with the learning objectives of the students and need of their overall development as professionals. The colleges have institutional arrangements for capacity building through development of soft skills and value added courses which bridge the gap between expectations of the corporate world and the world of academia.
Enjoyment of learning needs relaxation of stressed and overall development of the mind. This can be fulfilled by cultural, sports and other extra curricular activities but keeping the campus lively.

It is often said that growth is the engine of change. No where is this maxim more true than at S.E.A. Collage of management studies. Indeed, we’ve hired new faculty members a majority of our ranks! In tune, we have launched new programs in engineering, created new research groups in computer vision, graphics, embedded systems and software. This year’s graduating classes are among our strongest and we know that we’ll be proud of what they accomplish in the future.
