The word itself is derived from the Latin verb alere, "to nourish," and literally means "nourished ones." There are many ways that you can think about yourself and reflect upon the nourishing experiences you had while earning this meaningful title.

Alumni are a great asset of Colleges and their support is a backbone for many of the top colleges in the world to expand possibilities for their students and garner reputation. SEACET Alumni have etched “SEACET” as a highly recognized institution and are keeping the esteemed honor of the institution flying high with their remarkable achievements in the respective fields/organizations. Alumni of SEACET are not only noteworthy of their achievements that have brought great recognition to the institution on a global platform.

Objectives of Alumni Association 
To keep a roster of all Alumni of S.E.ACET with their updated and current information.
The Association aims to keep the Alumni connected to the College via events, guest lectures, reunions and networking opportunities.
To promote sense of belongingness among the Alumni by being in regular contact with them.
To provide a forum for the Alumni for exchange of ideas on academic, cultural and social issues by organizing and coordinating reunion activities.
To extend the help to the students of S.E.ACET for placement and industrial training.
To act as a bridge between college and the industries for interaction on new developments in different disciplines of engineering.
To assist the college to promote R & D activities, testing and consultancy.
To assist and support the efforts of S.E.ACET in obtaining funds for development.
To extend financial help to economically backward and deserving students in the form of scholarship for UG, PG and higher studies abroad.
To enrich the central library by donating books and by subscribing journals in the field of Engineering and Technology.

Need of Alumni Association 
To reach, engage and serve all alumni, present students by networking with one another to foster a life-long intellectual and emotional connection between the college and between the Alumni themselves.
The association serves the need of SEACET alumni for leadership, voluntary commitment, goodwill, financial support, enhancing industry academic collaboration and communications including public relations.
We conduct expert lectures to enhance knowledge of students.
Organize industrial visits to explore the industry environment to students.
Alumni help our students in training & recruitment.
Organizes annual alumni meet in and outside the campus in Bangalore.
